Description

Vitamin E nicotinate is a compound formed by the esterification of vitamin E and niacin. It has the functions of activating the microcirculation system, softening blood vessels, inhibiting platelet aggregation, reducing blood viscosity, and increasing blood oxygen partial pressure. Also Vitamin E nicotinate can improve lipid metabolism, effectively reduce triglycerides, cholesterol and lipid peroxides, increase high-density lipoprotein, and comprehensively regulate blood lipid levels.

Vitamin E nicotinate Use and Manufacturing

This product is a peripheral vasodilator. It can directly act on the blood vessel wall, has the effect of promoting blood circulation, continuously and steadily increasing blood flow, and can inhibit the biosynthesis of cholesterol. It is used for hypertension, cerebral arteriosclerosis, cerebral stroke, concussion and sequelae of brain trauma, headache, dizziness, central retinitis and other vascular disorders. It can also be used for abnormal lipid metabolism, coronary artery insufficiency and circulatory disorders.

Drug Function and Efficacy

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that can combine with selenium in the diet to prevent free radical damage to polyunsaturated fatty acids in membranes and other cell structures, protect red blood cells from hemolysis, protect nerves and muscles from oxygen free radical damage, maintain normal development and function of nerves and muscles, and may also be a cofactor for certain enzyme systems. Niacin is converted into nicotinamide in the body, and then combined with riboadenine to form nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (coenzyme I) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (coenzyme II), which are necessary for lipid, amino acid, protein, purine metabolism, tissue respiration oxidation and glycogenolysis. Niacin can reduce the utilization of coenzyme A and affect the transportation of cholesterol in the blood by inhibiting the synthesis of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL).
