Drug Function and Efficacy

Pirenoxine sodium can competitively inhibit the effects of quinone substances on lens soluble proteins, and can also fight against cataracts caused by free radical damage to the lens, and has a certain inhibitory effect on the development of cataracts. Animal experiments have shown that pirenoxine sodium can reduce the incidence of posterior capsule opacity after extracapsular cataract extraction.
