Methods of Manufacturing

It is obtained by condensation of resorcinol and tetrachlorophthalic anhydride into tetrachlorofluorescein, and then bromination.

Uses

Adsorption indicator for Mallory~"s fluorescent pink-methylene blue staining; Kreyberg~"s method for keratin and mucus.
