Description
Fosfructose trisodium (Diphosphofructose trisodium;Esafosfan trisodium;FDP trisodium) is a cytoprotective natural sugar phosphate for the potential treatment of cardiovascular ischemia, sickle cell anemia and asthma. It acts by stimulating anaerobic glycolysis which generates adenosine triphosphate under ischemic conditions.
Drug Function and Efficacy
This product is an intermediate product of sugar metabolism in the body, and produces pharmacological effects by regulating the activity of several enzymes in sugar metabolism. Exogenous 1,6-diphosphate fructose can increase the concentration of intracellular adenosine triphosphate and creatine phosphate, promote the influx of potassium ions, increase the content of diphosphoglycerate in red blood cells, inhibit the release of oxygen free radicals and histamine, and has many other pharmacological effects. It can reduce the damage caused by ischemia and hypoxia, and especially has a good protective effect on ischemic heart disease.
