Adding dilute nitric acid to an acid-resistant reactor, heating at 40-50°C, slowly adding mercury for reaction, evaporating and concentrating, cooling and crystallizing, and centrifugal separation to prepare mercurous nitrate dihydrate. 2Hg+2HNO3+2H2O→2HgNO3·2H2O+H2↑
