Methods of Manufacturing

Rhodochrosite-hydrochloric acid method After the crushed rhodochrosite reacts with excess hydrochloric acid in the reactor, lime is added to neutralize the excess hydrochloric acid, the Ph is controlled to about 4, and hydrogen peroxide is added to remove iron. Then, manganese sulfate is added to the solution to remove calcium, and the purified solution is evaporated, filtered, concentrated by evaporation, cooled and crystallized, and centrifuged to obtain a finished manganese chloride product. Its MnCO3+2HCI→MnCl2+H20+CO2Fe2+-e[H2O2]→Fe3+CaC12+MnSO4→MnC12+CaSO4↓Pyromanganese-hydrochloric acid method mixes the soft manganese ore with coal powder, reduces roasting to produce manganese monoxide, or the manganese ore directly Hydrochloric acid reaction, after filtering and removing impurities, concentration, cooling and crystallization, centrifugal separation, the finished manganese chloride is prepared. Its MnO2+C→MnO+COMnO2+CO→MnO+CO2MnO+2HCl→MnCl2+H2O or MnO2+4HCl→MnC12+2H2O+C12↑

Uses

In dyeing (manganese bister); disinfecting; purifying natural gas; linseed oil drier; in electric batteries.
