Cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

In the metal cadmium method, electrolytic metal cadmium is added to an acid-resistant reactor containing non-ionized water, and 30% to 35% dilute nitric acid is gradually added to start a fierce reaction. When the reaction tends to be slow, it is gradually heated to 70-80°C and the reaction is 6 to 6 After 8h, the reaction solution was neutralized. After the solution was filtered, the filtrate was sent to the evaporator and concentrated until a thin film was formed on the surface of the solution. It is then sent to a crystallizer for cooling and crystallization, centrifugal separation, and air-drying in the air to produce a finished product of cadmium nitrate. During the reaction of Cd+4HNO3→Cd(NO3)2+2H2O+2NO2↑, nitrogen oxide gas escaped and was toxic. For the treatment method, please refer to the absorption method of sodium nitrate.
