Methods of Manufacturing

Dry method. Reaction equation: 3PbO+2SiO2→3PbO·2SiO2 Operation method: Mix the powders of lead oxide (PbO) and silicon dioxide (SiO2) at a mass ratio of 85:15, then calcinate and melt at 950°C, then add water to cool quickly. Wet grinding, filtering, and drying can get 3~4μm pigment.

Uses

Anti-rust paint. Adding polymers can be used as wear-resistant materials. It can be used as a heat stabilizer for polymers, and is also used in the manufacture of optical glass, kinescopes, optical fibers, household utensils, and for low melting point welding.
