Description
Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Met-OH regulates human immune function and inhibits tumor growth via binding to the opioid receptor.
One of the endogenous pentapeptides with morphine-like activity. It differs from LEU-ENKEPHALIN by the amino acid METHIONINE in position 5. Its first four amino acid sequence is identical to the tetrapeptide sequence at the N-terminal of BETA-ENDORPHIN.

H-TYR-GLY-GLY-PHE-MET-OH Use and Manufacturing
Using L-tyrosine, glycine, L-phenylalanine, and L-methionine as raw materials, the side chains of amino acids with side chains in amino acids are protected with protective agents according to their characteristics. Condensation reaction is carried out in the presence of the mixture, and then the protective agent is removed for purification.
Used in biochemical research and neurobiological research.
