The preparation method is prepared by reacting p-bromophenol with phosphorous trichloride in the presence of triethylamine. First add phosphorus trichloride and benzene, add dropwise a mixture of p-bromophenol, benzene and triethylamine at 15-20°C. After the addition is completed for about 0.5h, continue stirring for 15min. Water is added, the water layer is separated, triethylamine is recovered, and the solvent is evaporated from the benzene layer to obtain O, O-bis(p-bromophenyl) thiophosphoryl chloride.
O,O-bis(p-bromophenyl) thiophosphoryl chloride is specially used as an intermediate of the rodenticide bromotetramine in pesticide production.
