Phosphorothioic acid, O,O-dimethyl ester, ammonium salt (1:1) Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation method is to use dimethyl phosphite as raw material in the presence of a solvent to react with sulfur and ammonia. Put dimethyl phosphite, sulfur powder and toluene in proportion in the reaction kettle, and then introduce ammonia gas into this mixture to control the reaction temperature at 20-30°C. After the completion of the ammonia gas, the reaction was incubated for another 1 hour. After the reaction was completed, ammonium salt crystals were formed. Then, water was added. After the crystals were dissolved, they were transferred to a layered tank and allowed to stand. The upper layer of toluene was recycled. %, after measurement, it will be transferred to the storage tank for use in the next stage. The reaction for preparing the ammonium salt described above is a strongly exothermic reaction, and frozen brine is required to remove the heat generated by the reaction in time.

Uses
