4-BROMO-2-TRIFLUOROMETHYLPYRIDINE Use and Manufacturing

Weigh 4.2g of Diosgenin, 1.5 g of potassium carbonate was dissolved in 100 mL of isopropanol in a 500 mL three-necked flask, and then 2.6 g of 2-trifluoromethyl-4-bromo-pyridine was added, and the mixture was heated and stirred at 110 C., and the reaction was kept under stirring for 12 h. Ether-ethyl acetate (1: 1), developer: 5% ethanol solution of phosphomolybdic acid) Detect all reactions of diosgenin, evaporate the solvent under reduced pressure, cool to room temperature, add 50 mL of water, and extract 3 times with acetone (50 mL × 3), TLC followed the process of separation and purification of the product.
