Description

Aethusin is a polyene that is tridecane carrying trans double bonds at positions 2, 8, and 10 and triple bonds at positions 4 and 6. It is a phytotoxin isolated from the plant, Aethusa cynapium. It has a role as a phytotoxin and a GABAA receptor antagonist. It is an enyne and a polyene.
