3-AMINO-2-HYDROXY-N,N-DIMETHYLBENZAMIDE Use and Manufacturing

Step 7 Step 5 A solution of 33.5 g of 2-hydroxy-N, N-dimethyl-3-nitrobenzamide in 600 ml of ethanol were added to a suspension of 3.35 g of Pd/C 10percent in 70 ml of ethanol. A mixture of the product from step B above (6 g), 10percent Pd/C (0.6 g), and EtOH (80 mL) was stirred in a parr shaker under hydrogen (40 psi) at room temperature for 2 days. Filtration through celite and concentration in vacuo afforded the title product (5.1 g, 99percent, MH+ = 181).A mixture of the product from step B above (6 g), 10percent Pd/C (0.6 g), and EtOH (80 mL) was stirred in a parr shaker under hydrogen (40 psi) at room temperature for 2 days. Filtration through celite and concentration in vacuo afforded the title product (5.1 g, 99percent, MH+=181).A mixture of the product from step B above (6 g), 10percent Pd/C (0.6 g), and EtOH (80 mL) was stirred in a parr shaker under hydrogen (40 psi) at room temperature for 2 days. The reaction mixture was de-gassed and then charged with HA mixture of the amide 202 (20.95 g, 99.7 mmol), EtOAc (200 mL), and Raney-nickel (3 spoons) was subjected to hydrogenation at 60 psi at room temperature overnight. The mixture was filtered through a layer of Celite. The filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the dark oil residue, which was
