Arsenobetaine BroMide Use and Manufacturing

Labelled Arsenobetaine (A778500). It was first reported as a natural constituent of lobster in 1977, and although subsequent work has demonstrated its presence in a wide range of marine and terrestrial organisms. Seven arsenic species have been quantified in a new NIST frozen human urine Std. Ref. Material (SRM) 2669. The species measured were: arsenite (As(III)), arsenate (As(V)), monomethylarsonate (MMA), dimethylarsinate (DMA), arsenobetaine (AB), arsenocholine (AC), and trimethylarsine oxide (TMAO).
