The resulting mixture was slowly heated to 80°C and stirred for 15-30 min. After the starting 1 was consumed as indicated by TLC, the reaction mixture was cooled to -5°C slowly and kept at -5°C overnight. The resulting solid was collected by filtration. The filter cake was washed with petroleum ether /EtOAc (1 : 1) (5 L), petroleum ether (5L x 2), saturated NaHS03 (aq.)
