Methods of Manufacturing

Dissolve p-aminobenzenesulfonamide in aqueous hydrobromic acid, heat to 70-75°C, and add 30% hydrogen peroxide. The reaction exothermed, and the temperature rose to 85-90°C. After stirring the reaction, the reactant almost became solid. When it is hot, it is filtered with suction to obtain 3, 5-dibromo-p-aminobenzenesulfonamide with a yield of 90-94%.
