1,4-Dichloronaphthalene Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

From the sodium naphthylamine-4-sulfonate through the following steps. Dissolve the sodium naphthylamine-4-sulfonate in water, add concentrated hydrochloric acid, add sodium nitrite at 0°C for diazotization, then add the cuprous chloride and hydrochloric acid solution to the diazonium salt, heat to replace, cool, Drain, wash with water, dry below 100℃, slowly add the dried sodium 1-chloronaphthalene-4-sulfonate to phosphorus pentachloride and reflux for 2h, pour it into crushed ice and drain it, wash with water, in the air Drying; adding 1-chloronaphthalene-4-sulfonyl chloride to phosphorus pentachloride at one time, heating to 160-165°C for 4 hours, pour into crushed ice until neutral, finally vacuum distillation, ethanol recrystallization to obtain the finished product.
