Description

Dichloroallyl Lawsone is a triazine derivative with antineoplastic activity. Dichloroallyl lawsone inhibits mitochondrial dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHOD), an enzyme that catalyzes the only redox step in de novo pyrimidine biosynthesis, and nucleotide (RNA and DNA) biosynthesis. (NCI04)
