Description

6-deoxocastasterone is a 3alpha-hydroxy steroid that is castasterone which is lacking the oxo substituent at position 6. It is a 2alpha-hydroxy steroid, a 3alpha-hydroxy steroid, a 22-hydroxy steroid, a 23-hydroxy steroid and a brassinosteroid. It derives from a castasterone. It derives from a hydride of a 5alpha-campestane.
