Lead, [1,2-benzenedicarboxylato(2-)]dioxotri- Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

It is derived from the reaction of lead oxide and phthalic anhydride in the presence of acetic acid. Raw material consumption (kg/t) Phthalic anhydride 200 Green lead 820

Uses

This product is a polyvinyl chloride heat stabilizer, which not only has a strong ability to absorb hydrogen chloride, but also has the effect of absorbing ultraviolet rays, so it has both excellent stability and light stability, as well as excellent electrical insulation and dispersion. The product has little reactivity with various plasticizers, and its stability to chlorinated paraffin is second only to the dibasic lead phosphite. When combined with phthalate plasticizers, the processing performance is very good. This product is suitable for high temperature electrical insulation materials, foam products and calendered products. This product is toxic and cannot be used in products that come into direct contact with food.
