DICLOFOP-METHYL Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation of 2, 4-dichloro-4'-methoxydiphenyl ether is formed by the condensation of 2, 4-dichlorophenol and p-methoxy halobenzene. The preparation of 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyphenol is produced by demethylation of the above-mentioned condensation product in the presence of hydrochloric acid. Promethazine synthesis The condensation of methyl α-chloropropionate and 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyphenol produces promethazine.

Uses

The selective foliar treatment agent can be absorbed by the roots, stems and leaves of the plant, and has a local systemic effect, but the conductivity is poor, and it is used to control annual grass weeds. Such as wild oats, barnyard grass, ox grass, barley grass, barley grass, cricket grass, etc. in barley, wheat, soybean, flax, peanut and other crop fields. It works both before and after buds, and is ineffective against broad-leaved weeds and perennial grass weeds. For example, wild oats for controlling wheat fields, when they are applied in the 2 to 4 leaf stage, and 36% Hecao Ling emulsifiable concentrate 15 to 28mL/100m2 may inhibit wheat.
