Methods of Manufacturing
It can be acylated with 1, 3, 5 (10) estrien-3-ol-17 ketone (ie, estrone) with isopropenyl acetate in the presence of p-toluenesulfonic acid to produce 1, 3, 5 (10), 16-Estratetraene-3, 17-diol diacetate, then epoxidized with peracetic acid in ethylene dichloride to prepare the product.

Intermediate of estriol.
