Trilithium phosphate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Industrial production generally uses lithium hydroxide monohydrate or lithium carbonate as raw materials and reacts with phosphoric acid to obtain lithium phosphate. In the phosphoric acid method, industrial lithium hydroxide monohydrate is added to a reactor filled with distilled water, and hot-process phosphoric acid is slowly added under stirring to neutralize the reaction, forming a lithium phosphate precipitate, which is filtered, concentrated by distillation, cooled and crystallized, centrifuged, and dried. The finished product of lithium phosphate is obtained. 3LiOH?H2O+H3PO4→Li3PO4+4H2O
