Zinc sulfite Use and Manufacturing

Uses

Zinc sulfite is used as a preservative in some industries to inhibit the growth of microorganisms. Because it has oxygen absorbing properties. Zinc sulfite can be used as an intermediate for the preparation of other zinc compounds. In water treatment, Zinc sulfite is used to remove heavy metal ions from water. It can also be used in chemical experiments and research.
