Description
Pyridoxamine hydrochloride is a hydrochloride obtained by combining pyridoxamine with one molar equivalent of hydrochloric acid. Used for treatment of diabetic nephropathy. It has a role as an Escherichia coli metabolite, a Saccharomyces cerevisiae metabolite, a human metabolite, a plant metabolite, a mouse metabolite, an iron chelator and a nephroprotective agent. It is a hydrochloride and a vitamin B6. It contains a pyridoxaminium(1+).
