Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation method is to rearrange the tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphite to obtain the phosphonic acid diester. Tris (2-chloroethyl) phosphite was added from the bottom of a stainless steel reactor with a stirrer, overflowed from the top, and continuously rearranged under stirring. The temperature was controlled at 220~240℃ and the flow rate was 75~ 80kg/h, the residence time is about 10min, and the phosphonic acid diester with content above 60% is obtained.

Uses

O,O-bis(2-chloroethyl)-2-chloroethylphosphonate is referred to as phosphonic acid diester, which is an intermediate of plant growth regulator Ethephon.
