Description
Enbucrilate (Butyl cyanoacrylate) is a cyanoacrylate ester that has been used as surgical tissue adhesive.
Enbucrilate is a nitrile and an alpha,beta-unsaturated monocarboxylic acid.|Enbucrilate is under investigation in clinical trial NCT02468206 (Secondary Prophylaxis of Gastric Variceal Bleed).|A tissue adhesive that is applied as a monomer to moist tissue and polymerizes to form a bond. It is slowly biodegradable and used in all kinds of surgery, including dental.

Butyl cyanoacrylate Use and Manufacturing
It is obtained by polymerization, dehydration and cracking of butyl cyanoacetate. After refining the crude monomer obtained by cracking, hydroquinone and SO2 are added as polymerization inhibitors, namely, the binding hemostatic agent BCA.
Used for preparing hemostatic adhesive, used for surgical hemostasis and suture. It rapidly polymerizes when it meets water and the surface with anions. This product is mixed with carbolic acid and used in male vas deferens sticking sterilization. Similar products are isobutyl 2-cyanoallylate [1069-55-2]
