To N-Boc-4- methyl-piperidine (2.16g, 8.88mmol) in dichloromethane (3mL) was added a solution of HCl inethyl acetate solution (4M, 6mL), stirred at room temperature 1.5h, the solvent was removed to give 1.59g ofwhite solid: compound 4-methyl-piperidine hydrochloride, yield: 99.A solution of 4-piperidinecarboxylic acid (500 g, 3.87 mol) and methanol (2.5 L) was added to the reaction flask, and thionyl chloride (460.4 g, 3.87 mol) was added dropwise, and the temperature was gradually increased during the dropwise addition Temperature rise to 80 reflux reaction 3h. The reaction solution was concentrated under reduced pressure at 50 ° C to give 687 g of a white solid, the yield was 98.8percent
