Disperse Red 86 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Taking bromamine acid as the main raw material, firstly condense it with p-toluenesulfonamide, and then conduct methoxylation reaction with methanol under alkaline conditions to obtain the product. After filtering, grinding and drying, the finished product is obtained. . Add 10kg bromamine (100%), 5kg p-toluenesulfonamide (content not less than 98%), 0.35kg copper sulfate (above 98%), 1.87kg potassium carbonate (99%) in the condensation pot, and heat to ( React at 97±1)°C for 12h, lower the temperature to 30°C, filter, wash the filter cake with 2% salt water to neutrality, and dry to obtain about 13kg of the condensation product (I). Add 15kg of condensation product (I), 35.6kg of potassium hydroxide, and 71.5kg of methanol (industrial product) into the reaction pot, and heat to 87-89°C and reflux for 4h. Cool down to 30°C, dilute with 100kg of water, filter, wash with 80°C hot water to neutrality, and dry to obtain about 11kg of product.
