Scopoletin Use and Manufacturing

The aglucone of Scopolin. Used for cosmetics, topical formulations, and foods. Dyes can be used to detect the release of reactive oxygen species during oxidative bursts; peroxygen scavengers; acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. Clinically, it has the effects of expelling wind, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and expectorant.
