Description

Triethylsilyl chloride is a colorless to yellowish liquid. The molecular formula ₆ C. H₁₅ClSi. This compound reacts highly with water, releasing hydrogen chloride gas. It has a boiling point of about 106°C and should be handled carefully in a dry, inert atmosphere. Store in an airtight container to avoid moisture.
