MS (-ve ion electrospray) m/z 440([M-H]-, 10%), 138 (100%).Step 1 Methyl 4-hydroxynicotinate In a 500 ml four-necked flask equipped with a stirring, thermometer, and reflux condenser, 120 g of methanol and 11.3 g (0.05 mol) of the 3, 5-dichloropiperidine-4-one-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester obtained in Example 3 , 15.0 g of potassium carbonate, stirred at 40-45 C for 3 hours, cooled to 20-25 C, added 12.0 g (0.06 mol) of 20% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, stirred at 30-35 C for 2 hours, cooled to 20-25 , 30% hydrochloric acid acidification system pH value is 2.5-3.0, filtered and dried to obtain 6.33 g of white solid
