Description
Glyclopyramide is a sulfonamide.|Glyclopyramide is a second-generation sulfonylurea with antihyperglycemic activity. Compared to first-generation compounds and like other second-generation compounds, glyclopyramide works more effectively with fewer side effects. This agent has a relatively short half-life of 4.0 hours and is excreted mainly by the kidneys.
