Methods of Manufacturing

Uses

Acenaphthylene is a raw material for organic synthesis, used in electrical insulating materials, ion exchange resins, dyes, etc. When the purity of commercially available products is 95%, the melting point is 88-91°C, and the relative density at the melting point is 0.899. The raw material for the production of 1,8-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid anhydride, used in the production of dyes, can be used to produce acenaphthylene resin after dehydrogenation, can produce plant growth hormones, insecticides, etc.; used as organic synthesis raw materials.
