Description

It is an enantiomer of an aldehydo-D-fucose.|Fucose is under investigation in clinical trial NCT03354533 (Study of ORL-1F (L-fucose) in Patients With Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency Type II).|A six-member ring deoxysugar with the chemical formula C6H12O5. It lacks a hydroxyl group on the carbon at position 6 of the molecule.
