Description

Perfluorohexane sulfonate (PFHxS, perfluorohexane sulfonic acid, perfluorohexane-1-sulphonic acid) is slightly soluble in water. Perfluorohexane sulfonate has the ability to react with strong oxidizing agents. Upon decomposition, PFHxS can form carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, and oxides of sulfur.
