Asomate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Dimethylamine reacts with carbon disulfide and sodium hydroxide to form sodium N-dimethyldithiocarbamate, which is formulated into a 15% solution, and arsenic trioxide is formulated into an alkaline solution with 40% sodium hydroxide in the presence of dilute sulfuric acid The reaction is to prepare Formime. Raw material consumption quota: dimethylamine (100%) 430kg/t, carbon disulfide (98%) 720kg/t, liquid alkali (100%) 450kg/t, sulfuric acid (100%) 630kg/t, arsenic trioxide (95%) ) 360kg/t.

Uses

Asomate is an organoarsenic fungicide used for various agricultural goods. Research has shown that arsenic pollution manifested permanently and extensively when asomate was used continuously in apple orchard.
