Benzenamine, 4-(2-phenyldiazenyl)-, hydrochloride (1:1) Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Diazotization reaction is carried out from aniline and sodium nitrite in hydrochloric acid medium to obtain aniline diazonium salt, which is then added with another molecule of aniline to generate diazoaminobenzene, and then in the presence of a small amount of aniline hydrochloride, the salt is 50- At 55°C, molecular rearrangement is carried out, acidified with hydrochloric acid to obtain crystals of p-aminoazobenzene hydrochloride, filtered and dried to obtain finished products. (Refer to 01650) Product specifications: blue-purple needle-like crystals, with a dry content of more than 90%, and a moisture content of ≤35%.

Uses

Dyestuff intermediate, used to manufacture acid scarlet GR, disperse yellow RGFL, disperse yellow 3R WV, disperse orange GG, etc.
