Formamidine acetate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

It is derived from triethyl orthoformate and glacial acetic acid through ammonia condensation. Add triethyl orthoformate to glacial acetic acid and heat, pass ammonia to react for 1.5h, and precipitate white crystals, then continue to pass ammonia for half an hour. The reactant is firstly distilled at atmospheric pressure, and then the alcohol is evaporated by vacuum distillation. Cool to 25°C, wash with absolute ethanol, filter, and dry to obtain formamidine acetate.

Uses

Methylacetate acetate is mainly used for the synthesis of a class of compounds with biological activity such as the anti-tumor drug 4-hydroxy-5-fluoropyrimidine, etc., as well as the synthesis of cyclohexanone peptide antifungal drugs, the synthesis of trichloropyrimidine, etc.
