To a round-bottom flask was charged with 2-(2, 2-dibromo-vinyl)-phenylamine (0.139 g, 0.50 mmol), K3PO4-H2O (0.58 g, 2.5 mmol), Pd2(dba)3 (4.6 mg, 2 molpercent Pd) and s-Phos (10.3 mg, 5 molpercent). After the mixture was purged with N2 for over 10 min, triethylborane was added, followed by addition of H2O (10 muL). The reaction mixture was stirred at 60 0C for 2 h. The mixture was then cooled to -20 0C, to which H2O2 (30percent, 0.5 mL) was added. The mixture was slowly warmed to rt and stirred for another 30 min. After usual aqueous workup, the product was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (10percent EtOAc in hexanes) to afford a crystalline product (0.108 g, 77percent) as the title product (Sadanandan, E.
