Malonamide Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Derived from the reaction of diethyl malonate with ammonia. Add ammonia water to the enamel bucket, cool to below 25℃, slowly add diethyl malonate with stirring, the reaction temperature is about 20℃, and leave it at room temperature for two days after the reaction. The bottom crystals were filtered out, concentrated under reduced pressure, decolorized charcoal was added, filtered through suction, cooled and crystallized, dried at 80 ℃, crushed to be the finished product.

Uses

Malonamide is used in the synthesis of malonamic acid, malonamate and malonamide derivative of some heterocyclic compounds with antiinflammatory activity.
