Acetate ion

Acetate ion is mainly used in the production of vinyl acetate, a precursor to polyvinyl alcohol used as an ingredient in paints. Various industrial solvents are acetate ion, such as methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, isopropyl acetate, and butyl acetate (used as a flavor in food). Acetate ion is used as a regulator in pesticides. Acetate ion in pesticides is mainly used as a regulator. It can adjust the pH of other chemicals to make them more suitable for the growing environment of crops.
