Monosodium aspartate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

L-aspartic acid is obtained by fermentation of bacteria (E. coli, etc.), which is obtained by crystallization after neutralization with sodium hydroxide.

Uses

Sodium L-aspartate has excellent freshness and antiseptic effect, and is widely used as a freshness and preservative in the food industry, and can replace MSG. In the pharmaceutical industry, it can be used as the main raw material for heart disease drugs, liver function promoters, ammonia detoxification agents, fatigue relief agents and amino acid infusions. It is also widely used in industry.

L-Aspartic acid, sodium salt (1:1): ACTIVE|Aspartic acid, homopolymer, sodium salt: ACTIVE|PMN - indicates a commenced PMN (Pre-Manufacture Notices) substance.
