Description
Flunarizine is a selective calcium entry blocker.Target: Calcium ChannelFlunarizine is a drug classified as a calcium channel blocker. Flunarizine is a non-selective calcium entry blocker with other actions including histamine H1 receptor blocking activity. It is effective in the prophylaxis of migraine, occlusive peripheral vascular disease, vertigo of central and peripheral origin, and as an adjuvant in the therapy of epilepsy. It may help to reduce the severity and duration of attacks

Flunarizine hydrochloride Use and Manufacturing
1. Antipsychotic, H1 antihistamine
2. Calcium channel blocker; fluorinated derivative of Cinnarizine. Vasodilator (cerebral and peripheral). This is the labeled analog.
Drug Function and Efficacy
This product is a calcium channel blocker, which can prevent cell damage caused by pathological intracellular calcium overload due to ischemia and other reasons; 1. Relieve vasospasm, and have a lasting inhibitory effect on persistent vasospasm caused by vasoconstrictor substances, especially on the basilar artery and internal carotid artery; 2. Vestibular inhibitory effect, which can increase the blood flow of cochlear arterioles and improve vestibular organ circulation; 3. Anti-epileptic effect, which can block the pathological calcium overload of nerve cells to prevent paroxysmal depolarization and cell discharge, thereby avoiding epileptic seizures; 4. Protect the myocardium and significantly reduce ischemic myocardial damage; 5. It also has the effect of improving renal function and can be used for chronic renal failure; in addition, this product also has anti-histamine effect.
