Benzyltrimethylammonium iodide Use and Manufacturing
Dissolve N, N-dimethylbenzylamine in methanol, add methyl iodide, heat the reaction, and distill off the methanol at a slight boiling for 0.5h to obtain solid crude benzyltrimethylammonium iodide, and then recrystallize with ethanol to obtain the finished product .
