Furil, dioxime Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Made from furoyl (see previous article). Mix 8 times the weight of furoyl with water and excess hydroxylamine hydrochloride and heat it on a water bath until it is completely dissolved. Pour the solution into boiling water 6 times the base volume and keep it boiling for a few minutes. Cool, filter out the precipitate, wash with a large amount of water, and then evaporate and dry at 30-90°C to obtain the finished product.

Uses

This product can form a stable complex with nickel, platinum, palladium, rhenium, etc., used as a chelating extractant to extract and separate nickel, palladium, etc.
