The 10.3g of farnesylacetic acid, 15.0g the geraniol, 25.0 ml of xylene, 0.43g of hydroquinone was mixed and refluxed for about 10 hours, to TLC (P/E = 25:1) detecting product characterized, using TLC (P/E=5:1) detecting whether the raw material is farnesyl acetate reaction is complete.
