Methods of Manufacturing

The o-nitrochlorobenzene is reduced with 30% hydrochloric acid, water, and iron powder to obtain o-chloroaniline. After being refined, 30% hydrochloric acid is added to form a salt, filtered and dried to obtain the finished product. The industrial product is light gray powder, the content is ≥90%, the hydrochloric acid insoluble matter is ≤0.2%, and the intensity and shade of coupling with Naphthol AS should meet the requirements. Raw material consumption quota: 1002kg/t of o-nitrochlorobenzene, 1011kg/t of iron powder, 1092kg/t of hydrochloric acid (31%).

Uses

Mainly used as a coloring agent for dyeing and printing cotton fabrics, and also as an intermediate for dyes and pesticides
