2,3-Dihydro-1,4-phthalazinedione Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

From the reaction of phthalic anhydride and hydrazine hydrate. Ethanol, hydrazine hydrate and phthalic anhydride were put into the reaction pot in turn, stirred, and heated to reflux for 8h. Evaporate the ethanol until the reaction becomes a paste. Cool to 40℃, add appropriate amount of water, spin filter, wash to pH 6.5, and dry to obtain diketophthalazine.

Uses

Phthalic Hydrazide is a reagent in the synthesis in various pyrazolophthalazine derivatives.
